Interesting, but clumsily written and based just on two blogs. Why? There are far better sources out there like: this and this. You need to make this read like less like the plants are bending down and actively covering themselves in sand, and more like they have evolved to passively entrap sand. 'Body parts' is a phrase not used in botany, so please change it. Please also balance the article by stating the other explanations for this feature, such as resistance to abrasion and high insolation (see here.)
