I was unaware that someone had deleted all of the text in here. This is trivial stuff to find sources for; virtually any text that discusses social insects. You should take the time to figure out why such material was deleted. Per WP:BURDEN, the editor who originally added the assertions should have cited those claims: "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material.
