This was listed on the wfy-needed page, but it looks pretty well wikified to me. | Keithlaw 04:14, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Moved here from article

some machines can also perform other operations such as solder paste application, board digitizing, and measurement, but these are not required for the actual production of a board (My italics).

So why does this need to be mentioned in article on PCB MILLING?Light current 07:24, 6 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Printed? edit

In what sense can a milled circuit board said to be "printed"? SpinningSpark 00:18, 28 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

The same sense as an etched board is described as "printed". Andy Dingley (talk) 00:40, 28 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
With an etched board the resist is deposited with a process analogous to printing (photolithography or silk-screening). The same cannot be said for milling. SpinningSpark 00:54, 28 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Smiling Machines edit

This article contains the phrase "CNC smiling machines". What is this supposed to mean? DmitryKsWikis (Dmitry K.) | talk 22:10, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
