Translate "Kreis" into English as "district", not "circle"
editI recommend translating "Kreis" as "district" rather than "circle", when it is used in the geographic sense. In English, "circle" does not have this same meaning, as it does in German, and "district" is a better rendering of the term.

- Normally I would agree. Kreis, in the modern sense, is translated as "district" or, less often, as "county". However, here it refers to the historical entity which most English sources translate as "circle". Bermicourt (talk) 18:30, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
