Qualifications and Terms of Presidency edit

It would be good to know if you can put the qualifications and the terms a Guatemalan could be president. How long is the presidency, officially, and how many times can they run. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.96.172.5 (talk) 22:37, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring edit

I have locked the page for two days to stop the recent edit warring. Come here to the talk page, talk about your differences, and reach a consensus about what should be in the article. -- MelanieN (talk) 19:42, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@MelanieN: Firstly, I want to thank you for your decision, it was really needed IMHO... As for the content, I can't grasp why some editors (mostly using dynamic IPs) insists on having heads of state of the Federal Republic of Central America as part of this article, as Guatemala was just one of the constituent countries of that nation. That content doesn't belong here, especially since it already has its own separate article (List of heads of state of Federal Republic of Central America). I really find the attempts to include that content here as nonsensical, or even disruptive editing. -- Sundostund (talk) 19:59, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I will not be making any decisions with regard to content. You might want to ping the others to come here and discuss. That's if they are registered users; pings don't work with IPs. -- MelanieN (talk) 21:05, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
