I have rewritten the article to make it, at least, a little less confusing. I live in Pernambuco, and I speak fluent Portuguese, but I don't really know anything about the Revolta Praeira itself. I can read about it, and try to learn more, but at present all I can really do is correct the English and remove the reference to "guabirus." Zerologic 15:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The first big question that will need to be resolved is: what does "Praieira" mean in this context? That's what might be stopping additional assistance for those unfamiliar with the topic.
