The result of the move request was: Pozorrubio moved to Pozorrubio, Spain as there is consensus that isn't the primary topic. Pozorrubio (disambiguation) not moved to Pozorrubio as there is consensus that the Phillipines place is the primary topic, so make Pozorrubio a redirect per Wikipedia:MOSPHIL#Municipalities which suggests that page is currently at the correct location. PozorrubioPozorrubio, Spain — There are at least two municipalities sharing this name and it appears that this is not the primary topic. Pozorrubio, Pangasinan has more than 100 times more population than this municipality. JinJian (talk) 08:30, 5 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Support—no clear primary topic (if anything the Philippine place should be the primary topic). Ucucha 10:01, 5 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Support The newer and less well-developed article about the apparently less significant place is not the primary topic in this case. The Spanish place managed to occupy the unqualified name only because of the practice of pre-disambiguation of Philippine municipalities without even checking whether or not the unqualified name is in use. --Polaron | Talk 18:41, 5 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Support- but I think it would be better to call it Pozorrubio, Castile-La Mancha because most place names tend to follow the City, State convention. Spain's autonomies are pretty similar in status (with limited federalism) to "states" and "provinces" in other countries. Also, why not make Pozorrubio into a disambiguation page? • Looking at Category:Municipalities in Cuenca and some other provincial categories, it seems Spanish populated places are disambiguated either with the province or with "Spain", but never with the autonomous community. Ucucha 10:32, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
      • WP:NCGN#Disambiguation suggests we should use "Pozorrubio, Spain", because there is only one Pozorrubio in Spain ("Places are often disambiguated by the country in which they lie, if this is sufficient. However, when tags are required for places in the United States, Canada and Australia, use the name of the state, province or territory (if the place lies within a single such entity).") • Support (in part) In the absence of a naming convention for Spain, there seems no reason to depart from the usual method of disambiguating by country. Italy moved to Placename, Region a couple of years ago, but so far nobody has suggested something similar for Spain. There is already a disambiguation page at Pozorrubio (disambiguation), but this is not really appropriate, and hatnotes would be better. The Philippino settlement is clearly the primary use, and should move to Pozorrubio. Skinsmoke (talk) 06:01, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
