Shipwreck

edit

"Parts of the harbour were rebuilt after destruction by a violent storm in 1817. The East Indiaman Albemarle was blown ashore near Polperro with her valuable cargo, although the precise location of the wreck was never established." Presumably the shipwreck was caused by the same storm but it would be useful to have more detail and a reliable citation.--Felix folio secundus 09:43, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
