I would like to see this added to the article on Schaafsma: (it's one of the most significant developments in the study of North American rock art): "Among her notable professional achievement is the recognition of the Barrier Canyon Style pictographs of southeast Utah as a distinct rock art style that dates to the Archaic period, one of only two major Archaic-period painted rock art styles in the United States."
