What are the numbers

edit

Each column seems to have a number in it eg 8,9,0,n,1,2,3,4.... but what do they mean, and why isn't that described anywhere in the article. 97.75.161.222 (talk) 01:08, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maybe it’s a trend, maybe it isn’t. I thought this was used to predict the future course of prices. You can use this to show that maybe there once was a trend. But does it actually show the trend in price?

Seems to me this is still subject to interpretation. I find it hard to keep opinions out of the posts I do know something about. I am glad someone else came in here and cleaned this one up. GT

The article was useless as you wrote it. Usually substubs like this get deleted - I chose to expand it instead. I'm sorry if it's not perfect. Rhobite 20:35, Jan 31, 2005 (UTC)

This article is copied from this link [1].

That site is very strange. When I click on "terms and services", it brings me to Wikipedia. Conscious 13:39, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article is essentially useless.

As with any descriptive statistics technique calculation should be included. Further more, as this is an encyclopedia, subjective information should be left out completely.

I'll re-write it soon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.148.231.201 (talk) 04:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality

edit

This article doesn't appear to present a NPoV. For example: "They are very effective at keeping you on the right side of the market", "Point and figure charts can do a really good job to spot very good trading opportunities on a trade and trend market.", and "he has written a very interesting book on the subject"

Additonally, the paragraph beginning "Thomas Dorsey is a very prominent advocate" appears to simply be promoting links to a large number of external websites. --Helenabella (talk) 03:40, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
