editI have cleaned up the phrasing of this article and added two books which could be consulted to flesh it out further. As the article stands it is more of a definition than an explanation of the event, so I deleted the prior references to a high school textbook and a teacher's lecture notes. editWho first called the period of the English Civil War the Plundering Time? When and where did he, she or they begin using this term? Why did they call it by that name? I think the article should have that information.Nitpyck (talk) 08:25, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- See English Revolution in the Colonies#The Chesapeake Colonies. The term didn't refer to a part of the English Civil War as a whole, but rather a part of Maryland's early history. --BDD (talk) 20:06, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
