Plasma edit

Isn't the Primo based on some other companies Plasma? I think that it it a bus that its sold to the individues body builder to market. I'll get Buses mag out and edit the article Arriva436 13:17, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

True it is but the Plasma is the left-hand rive version of which the Primo was based on. It is a different bus therefore the article will not be renamed. You can add details aboutthe Plasma though. Unisouth 13:38, 1 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
The Plasma is left and right hand drive Arriva436 13:07, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
The plasma is not sold in UK. Unisouth 10:47, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, the Plasma is sold to Plaxton in the UK, and Plaxton fits them out and sells them as the "Plaxton Primo" -- Arriva 436 13:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Precisely, therefore it is called the Plaxton Primo! Unisouth 16:04, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
But the Plasma is sold in the UK... to Plaxton! -- Arriva 436 18:40, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
The Plasma is delivered to the UK to Plaxton as a basic framework and chassis, it is then fitted out to UK standard and sold to operators as the Plaxton Primo. 10:38, 25 September 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Unisouth (talkcontribs)

"Source needed" removed edit

Hi, I've removed the "source needed" template from the following sentence "As of 2014, the Primo is no longer available from Plaxton as the parent company Alexander Dennis phased it out in favour of its own Enviro200."

There were probably many factors inside that led to the ceasing of production (gearbox, engine etc) but personally I would say the biggest thing that led to its ceasing/demise was the length - These were great for Sunday rural routes but useless anywhere else whereas the Enviro200 has remained long since its creation so could generally be used universally,

Ofcourse on a technically it is Original research but on the other hand it is true and thus should remain,
