Suggestion regarding standards on Nomination history table edit

I think colors on the left side (a colored cell beside's housemates' name) doesn't specify "history" at all. Its useless.

Suggestion: Can we use background colors (the light and dark browns) as to what house they had nominated housemate/s? Through this we can easily recognize which housemates live together in Industrial House for this week, for that week, in what house did this certain housemate do nominations, et cetera; as well as to those who live together in Slums, we can determine who lives together in Slums for that week and the like. And that will present history, a nomination history it is. As I said, a "history", which will be useful in the future.

Check out PBB Teen Clash nomination history. Red color represents housemates residing in Apartment, meanwhile, blue color represents to those residing in Villa. In my perspective, without reading the whole article, were there really only two housemates living in Apartment throughout the season?? And more than fifteen are in Villa?

Please check out the following pages where such, as per my suggestion, was used:

Sorry for my poor English. I hope you understand. Thanks in advance for your feedback. —Fulg0s0 (talk) 06:13, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

First of, it was clear to the wiki writers then that the consensus was to put the colors to the side signifying the house where they were evicted. The "Up for Eviction" tab shows the colors to be used for the nominees in each house
Blue for House A in Double Up, Villa for Teen Clash
Red for House B in Double Up, Apartment for Teen Clash
Green for Neo-House A for Double Up, Teenternationals for Teen Clash
Orange for Neo-House B for Double Up, Pinoys for Teen Clash
The introduction to the nomination tables shows how the groups mixed, or if any changes happened.

We can use this format for the new groupings as well.

However, for the HOUSE TYPE, the slums and industrial colors should be present in each nominee for each week, to signify who were in the slums and who were in the industrial house for that week. Please keep in mind however, that we put background colors for Automatically Nominated, Exempted and Not Eligible. By putting background colors to the nominations other than this, it will be very difficult to handle situations as mentioned.
The table in the Housemates section also suffices to show the history of the switching of houses.LordBelly06 (talk) 12:21, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I think its best if the nominations and house-stay will be separated. Like what the anonymous user said, what if a particular housemate is automatically nominated? What BG color will be used? The blue one or the house-stay color one? And I think the separation will make it more organized because we may never know when BB will have their housemates swap houses. Who knows, maybe one housemate will be transferred to another house in the middle of the week. The nomination table can't record that because the table can only record what's happening in a week. Plus, separating it will make it more detailed. Refer to the Double Up page. There are times that BB swaps HMs in a particular week or a particular day. This separation was also done in BBUK pages. Refer to BBUK 2008 page. Plus, it will make the nomination table look cleaner and more organized. I think we can just do what we did in Double Up and Teen Clash, the separation of house-stay and nomination table, since that's what we did last 2 editions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicojamesbalde (talkcontribs) 11:59, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Nico. I agree with you. This is what I was basically saying in my reply above. LordBelly06 (talk) 12:26, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hi! Thanks for feedback. To clear things up, we have to disregard if housemates swapped within the week (or first day of week, end of the week, et cetera) as it is not related to nominations at all. My point here is to show which house does a housemate performed nominations (or what house did he nominated his co-housemate/s), that is why it is called "nomination history". Well, I agree with LordBelly06 that "the HOUSE TYPE, the slums and industrial colors should be present in each nominee for each week", the problem is how to present/how to use those colors in the table.
Anyway, take a look on this table (below) I have made. Instead of using the slums and industrial colors as cell background, I used them as text colors. What do you think? (Colors [or shade of] are subject to change. Disregard data inconsistencies.)Fulg0s0 (talk) 14:01, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
This looks nice. I kinda like the idea. So the text colors would indicate where the nominator stays or where the nominee stays when nomination is ongoing? Let's see if others would agree.
EDIT: I get it now. This might actually work. What do you guys think? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicojamesbalde (talkcontribs) 14:19, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yes, exactly! That is actually the objective I want to meet or to add in the table as we could easily distinguish which housemates were together in the slum area, and which were in the industrial house when the nomination took place. Unlike PBB Double Up and Teen Clash nomination tables, I find it hard to recognize which housemates were together. Even looking in "house-stay" table is difficult because it is very distant to the nomination table as it (house-stay table) is on the nearly top of the page. —Fulg0s0 (talk) 16:04, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps a better choice of colors should be done. Just make sure that these colors will still be seen even with the purple background for Automatic Nomination, yellow for Exempt, and grey for Not Eligible. Choose the colors wisely. This is the reason also why there's no background color nor text color in the previous two seasons' Nomination Histories.LordBelly06 (talk) 20:52, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have chosen better shades of colors. Charcoal color (#36454F) for texts for industrial house, rust (#B7410E) for slum area. And it seems both text colors are readable to blue, yellow and gray backgrounds. What do you think? See table below. Thanks. —Fulg0s0 (talk) 04:23, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Legend:
Housemates living in the industrial house
  Housemates living in the slums
Good choice of colors! I like it. I think it's time to revise the nomination table.
Thanks for editing! :) —Fulg0s0 (talk) 12:51, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I forgot. Should we use white background for "Not in the House" cells? I observed most nominations use the said color as background for that cell. A user (I forgot his username) has removed those actually. —Fulg0s0 (talk) 12:54, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Can I just say that I am very impressed. I'll just change the "IND" color to white in the Housemates table, so it will be more visible. Thank you all for your wonderful thoughts and cooperation. Let's make this article a good Big Brother article. LordBelly06 (talk) 13:51, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I bet this would never be a good article because of Eaglestorm's own way of citing sources and references (and it ruins the article, actually). Poor article. Tired of correcting those, by the way.  Philtro  Talk  05:09, 20 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Another division edit

Guys, what if we divide the events into two Houses as well? So it will be more organized? Comment on this idea, please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.54.2.133 (talk) 11:51, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

You mean the table? I agree.. I thought I've already suggested this yesterday but I couldn't find my post in the History. diRk dARyL 09:38, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I was thinking of something like this for the events section
Weekly summary
Week 1 Slums
  • Day 1: RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  • Day 2: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Week 2
Slums
  • Day 8: RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  • Day 9: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Industrial House
  • Day 8: RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  • Day 9: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Of course, this is just an example. What do you guys think? Nicojamesbalde (talk) 14:06, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Though this would make the Events section less cluttered, the prose version is still preferrable due to the fact that the events noted happen on the same DAY. Aeron Valderrama (talk) 15:24, 12 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speaking of which, is there anyone available to keep tabs from watching Unliday? I'm usually home in time for Unlinight, but smbody must log in the Unliday events so it doesn't have to be heavily biased in favor of unlinight. thanks. --Eaglestorm (talk) 14:33, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Day Numbering edit

Hi all, I was watching the UnliDay and UnliNight shows. And I found it weird that the Day numbering for UnliDay started with the entrance of the new set of housemates. Should we reflect that in the Wiki table or not?LordBelly06 (talk) 13:05, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I think we should follow the numbering for UnliNight, since the events in both UnliDay and UnliNight actually happen simultaneously. Well just put a note that Day 9 in the Industrial House is set as Day 1 within the show. Using both numbering might cause confusion. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:47, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
We use Day 1 as the day the season ACTUALLY started. We'll just make a note regarding the use of Day 1 in the Unli-day. Aeron Valderrama (talk) 15:23, 12 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for answering. I agree that we should use the UnliNight day numbering as it is the official start of the season.LordBelly06 (talk) 15:48, 12 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

the timeline edit

May I just say that Philtro is a freaking genius. A FREAKING GENIUS for making that timeline. I haven't thought of that. Thanks for making it more organized. Nicojamesbalde (talk) 12:22, 13 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! :D  Philtro  Talk  12:32, 13 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please edit the timeline putting the former Slums HMs to Luxury House. 121.58.234.242 (talk) 07:52, 21 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Retroactive change edit

Since, the idea of survival timeline (can we change the name to Stay history so that it won't sound something related to another show?) is good. Please help so that can retroactively change the other multi-house concept editions, i.e., Double Up and Teen Clash, into something similar. Thank you. 124.107.251.41 (talk) 15:37, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Remove the Resort part edit

That part is rather stupid. There is no point in saying "Person X lives at the Resort" since the Resort is not a house, but rather, it is an interior. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.190.128.160 (talk) 11:39, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Remove the fking Resort. It serves no purpose. Change it to Slums. Now! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.198.234.141 (talk) 15:53, 19 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
LOL at you. Everyone is free to edit. Anyway, Resort is important. 3Gs have not been in slums in their entire first week. -Fulg0s0 (talk) 16:23, 19 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

What a tard. You do realize that they were sent to the Slums' confession room? Or were you thinking that the resort itself were a house?

Color of Evicted HMs edit

I would like to ask why are there changes in the color for evicted HMs. Please revert it to the standard set by the WikiProject. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.107.251.41 (talk) 15:19, 26 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nomination Table: VS-VE System edit

Can anyone add to the notes the actual breakdown of the votes-to-save and votes-to-evict of each nominee? This has been standard practice since PBB Double Up. Thanks. LordBelly06 (talk) 06:10, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

New section edit

How about adding a section for the house battles?--Renzoy16 (talk) 07:47, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

My thoughts exactly. We need to get cues from the inter-house competitions from Double Up. --Eaglestorm (talk) 13:58, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Also thinking of the same thing here. Who has witnessed all of the house battles? We really should put a new section for this. Maybe we can get some from the events section? Nicojamesbalde (talk) 03:53, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Like I said, check the DU section I referred about. I admit segregating the major and minor battles would take a lot of table creation, but I leave it to others who can. Don't forget to copypaste the HOH section from DU, because both houses already started. OT: Nico, can you make a second batch picture the way you did the first one. It got deleted a few days ago. Thanks. --Eaglestorm (talk) 16:08, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Guys, let me just make some things clear: when covering the results of the house battles, hold your horses and wait until the results are announced on TV. Some people have taken to great lengths in recent days trying to release the latest results days before they are shown on TV. The protocol in logging the chronology applies here. Thank you. --Eaglestorm (talk) 13:53, 25 December 2011 (UTC) Just call them, Unli-Night or Unli-Day, besides, they were called that way before the High Voltage/Wayuk thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cratiod (talkcontribs) 07:15, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mini-Contra Battle section edit

Would it better if there were to be a section for that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cratiod (talkcontribs) 17:17, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Weekly Tasks edit

There is a correction in the Weekly Tasks summary. Team High Voltage IS NOT YET EXISTING when there are HMs in the Slums. So, do not put it under Team HV.

It is better to put all Weekly Tasks in one SINGLE table, similar to that of Double Up!. For those weeks wherein they have different WTs, just indicate the group by putting Passed, Failed, or Pending on the corresponding group, leave the other in BLACK (#000000). House switch will just be indicated as footnote to Week Number, which by the way should always start with Day 1. Aeron Valderrama (talk) 12:35, 4 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

It will be confusing to put all tasks in a single table. The original per-house system was much better. --Eaglestorm (talk) 00:26, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
It was NOT confusing with the Double Up! And because we need to correct the WRONG notion that the HMs formerly residing on the Slums are called Team High Voltage, whereas there are no TEAMS yet during that time.112.198.82.97 (talk) 12:37, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Table updated!Fulg0s0(talk) 05:19, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

No offense to Fulgoso, but I had to revert the edit. Looking at the tables, it became messy and hard to understand. Instead, I included introductory headers. Please feel free to revert if you found this as unnecessary. No offense will be taken on my part. Please do understand that we are trying to make the articles more understandable. Please suggest other means of making the tables more understandable.. Thanks. LordBelly06 (talk) 09:18, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

The current table is MORE understandable BUT is misleading. Fulgoso's table is OK, but the colors on the side are NOT necessary. Instead of the team names, the house names should be used. (Just put a footnote on the last WT, which was the one they need to make after the switch.

I think it would be best if we just call them by their original team names, UnliDay or UnliNight. THV/TW were just the renamed version of UnliNight and UnliDay, respectively. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cratiod (talkcontribs) 07:25, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Stay History edit

How will we take into account Wayuk and High Voltage both staying in Luxury House, and still are 2 different teams? Do we put different colors, say if they are from High Voltage (current blue) and Wayuk (different shade of blue)? Or is there no need to distinguish anymore? LordBelly06 (talk) 11:27, 15 January 2012 (UTC) That is not needed, LordBelly06. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.198.219.226 (talk) 23:28, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

what happened to the timeline?--Eaglestorm (talk) 03:03, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Completed edit

To all editors who worked on this article for months (even those numbnut anons who wheelwared a lot), good job. Although certain people in Pinoyexchange couldn't quite fathom Philtro's timeline table and the amount of data put in, it's easy to say as such when they devote as much time to their discussions as we do editing the article. --Eaglestorm (talk) 12:11, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

We need to edit the references, it is really untidy to look at. I have been using Provelt in adding details to this references. I hope people will use them too. I will still continue to edit this references, so don't you guys worry.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 14:04, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

suggestion edit

hey guys, can i give a suggestion? next edition, lets make the events section in general. lets just summarize the event so the article won't be lengthy. other than that, everythings fine. thanks. ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.54.2.133 (talk) 01:23, 2 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I support splitting the article as I have shown by my breakouts.--Jax 0677 (talk) 21:03, 29 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Splitting the article by sections? It hasn't even been decided then you try to go bold on it? The nomination history and the competitions need to be kept on the main page. The chronology was the main sticking point of some editors arguing the article's "overkill" length. Such stripping of materials and putting them into their own articles is more common with fan wikis but not here. --Eaglestorm (talk) 10:35, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
I allowed one week for feedback regarding the splitting of the article. Since no one responded, I went ahead and split the article. If anyone has any suggestions on how to split the article, I'd love to hear them.--Jax 0677 (talk) 15:12, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
