A mortar and pestle = Pilon (Old French)means grinding using a mortar and pestle, noun and verb. Used in grinding food, coffee, flowers for perfume, and herbs for medicine, and for cooking. Use water and oils as a solvent. Pilon = a rock grinding on another rock through the action of the wind, sea or other source of movement. Rocks grinding on rocks helped in the creation of life. All these rocks grinding on rocks together, a Pilon, everywhere are equivalent to the largest continuous running parrallel quantum computer for biodiversity and chemistry in the universe.
