Trivia doesn't look right

• The "Classic" puzzles that the player can download are all from previous Picross games, namely Mario's Picross, Mario's Super Picross, and NP Picross Vol. 1 through 8. Mario's Picross 2 is the only game not included. -- Following the link for Mario Picross 2, it points to the page saying that Mario Picross 2 is the same as Mario's Super Picross....either the statement on that page is bogus or the link on this page is wrong or the trivia content is wrong. 69.231.55.223 12:00, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

If you look, it says right on the opening paragraph for Mario's Super Picross the following: Mario's Super Picross is a Super Famicom sequel to Mario's Picross. It is erronously named as Mario's Picross 2, which is actually the name of the Game Boy sequel to Mario's Picross.

Boxart

Does somebody want to explain to me why exactly the European boxart should be used other than the fact that it's people from Europe who keep changing it? Kiwisoup 04:17, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the English language box art at Heroes of Mana or Picross DS, do not replace it. For a sample discussion on box art issues, see Talk:Wii_Play#Cover_art_again. Have you edited under another name before?

It's not like I'm on some European crusade to rid the world of American art work, if you see my contributions you'll see that I have uploaded many American box arts onto Wikipedia. But this isn't the American Wikipedia, this is the English language Wikipedia, and if the box art is a valid representation on the English language version of the subject, then it's OK and we shouldn't need to switch back and forth. - hahnchen 21:42, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

The English boxart of Picross DS is fine. The only reason why I changed the Heroes of Mana one was because it was released in America first.NintendoDSKing 22:13, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't generally care about where the game was released first, and just normally stick to which English language box was uploaded first. If you take a look at the edit history at The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, you'll see that the first upload (American) was preferred over the first released (European). - hahnchen 22:21, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

My reasoning is that the North American version came out first...it is also the most recognizable as other websites that cater to the English language as a whole use the North American box art. Kiwisoup 04:17, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Guys... Two things.
First off, content disputes are not the same as vandalism. Mischaracterizing it as vandalism is both a breach of civility, and a personal attack. It can get you blocked, particularly if you're a single purpose account of if you've just come off a block.
Second, if you can't argue against a person's point without resorting to suggesting that they're really a banned user, then you're stating that you have no argument at all. If you have a concern about an account, request a checkuser. But don't use your suspicions as a point in your argument. Kiwisoup, even if you're a unique account, you're still behaving as a "single purpose account". These are not forbidden, but they're not encouraged. What's more, you should be working with more experienced editors, rather than butting heads with them.
Ignore everything I have to say if you want, but don't be surprised if you're blocked pretty quickly if you do. Bladestorm 08:20, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

I've been making edits to pages for a while...many edits. None of which have resulted in any arguments...until now. I only made the account because I couldn't upload an image without one, prior to that I was just editing under my IP. I have made plenty of contributions, this isn't the first, and I have had no other accounts. If someone wants to give me a good reason why there should be the European boxart, that is one thing, but so far it's just been "I was here first" and "You've been banned before!" both of which are childish arguments that don't give you any more right than I do to change the cover image. I at least tried to compromise with just the logo or both of the boxarts. Kiwisoup 08:29, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

What about your reasoning (which I don't care for) where you support for what region it came out first, also Europe? Well since this article has always featured the European boxart, why don't you let the more recent North American boxart get a chance? It hasn't even been on for even a day without one of you two same people taking it down...stubborn and territorial, and you really can't make a case as for why it should stay...and I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you are both European, and that doesn't exactly help your case either. The fact that the European version came first only further proves that it should step aside and let the North American version have a chance now. It's only fair and that is my reasoning. I tried to make a compromise; You haven't...So I guess this will continue. If not with me, then surely with someone else as the edit history has shown. Besides...I hate yellow. No, I'm using your own argument that it was released first in Europe, which you tried to remove in this edit, alongside the fact that it is valid box art that was uploaded here first. The reason which we stick with what was here first, is to avoid pointless reversions. Shut up about your pathetic territorialism, I am fucking offended at you baseless jibes, nationalism is abhorrent to me. See my contributions, see the scores of American box arts I have uploaded, my actions speak louder than your words. Compromises suck, they suit neither party, I am not going to compromise on my position just because you're allergic to the colour yellow. Box arts are the standard as identifying pieces of art for computer games. Incidentally, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're North American, "that doesn't help your case either". If you want to plant the flag for America, I suggest you take it over to aluminium, it's been there for too long a time too. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#National_varieties_of_English, where the precedence of sticking with the original came from. It's why we have different spellings such as gasoline and aluminium. You should take a look through my contributions, before you make any more baseless accusations, take a look at Yoshi's Universal Gravitation, where even though I instigated the page move, I left the American box art where it is. Through an acknowledgement that the North American box art is a valid English language one, and a respect for the original. I'm not going to bend my principles for a user who has created an account purely to push this single issue.
