U.M. Hollrung edit

Phrynium macrocephalum is described in Die Flora von Kaiser Wilhelms Land.Kommissions - Verlag: Asher & Co, Berlin. But the link to the book does not describe it as being by U.M. Hollrung but rather, by Max Hollrung. The IPNI reference to Max Hollrung gives his name as Max Udo Hollrung. This book is described in several places in Wikipedia as being by U.M. Hollrung, but I have struggled to find this name order and think that the article I have written on Max Hollrung should probably be on Max Udo Hollrung rather than Udo Max Hollrung. Hoping that someone involved with this article can clear up my confusion!! @MargaretRDonald:, after IPNI, the second place you should look for information about a botanist is Harvard's Index of Botanist. Unfortunately, Hollrung is listed as both M.U. Hollrung and U.M. Hollrung there. Another approach would be to search major herbarium databases and see how the name is treated there (if you're lucky, maybe you can find an imaged specimen with his name on the label). He's Max Udo at Tropicos. Kew has a bunch of imaged specimens and lists him both as U.M. and M.U.; all the images attributed to U.M. only have his last name, but some of the others have M. Hollrung on the specimen label. From what I'm seeing, Max Udo looks like the more common order of his names. Plantdrew (talk) 21:41, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
