Should I put up a picture? Also, why is it so short!?--suit-n-tie 02:45, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Because I just wrote it. Actually, I just rescued it from redirect hell. All the Ghostbuster characters were just redirects to the main Ghostbusters page, so I made individual articles for each (I havent gotten to Winston Zeddemore yet) and added a general description of the character. I started it and hopefully someone can expand it. Wavy G 04:57, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Okay, but what about a picture?--suit-n-tie 03:17, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

fck two Ghostbusters movies in the "Quotes" section of this article. Admittedly Venkman is one of the most quotable characters in movie history, but I think this section is now too long and unencyclopedic. It is also imbalanced in that there is only one quote from the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, even though the 140 episodes of that series represent the vast majority of Venkman's existence as a fictional character. Following up on my previous comment, I have been bold and deleted some of the quotes from Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, while adding a quote from the Real Ghostbusters episode "Drool, the Dog-Faced Goblin". Gildir 15:20, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

There shouldn't really be any quotes, should there? Unless they're written as part of the article and given context, I mean. Quotes are what Wikiquote is for, really.--Joseph Q Publique 03:31, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Empire edit

The movie magazine Empire named him one of the greatest movie characters of all time. Worth a mention? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.89.108.51 (talk) 15:24, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

The Ghostbusters franchise and its characters are more memorable to me (and large part of my generation) than Superman. How come the notability of the characters featured is in doubt? I strongly feel that, if any manga character is acceptable, the Ghostbusters should be as well. Mfhulskemper (talk) 20:15, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notability is determined by coverage of the character themselves in reliable, third-party sources as demonstrated in the article, not the franchise, media type, etc. This article currently is purely plot and unsourced claims, showing no notability. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 22:13, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Quality of entry edit

The entry is really, really badly written (not so much in the first sections, but it becomes embarrassingly bad in the Appearances section). Large parts should be deleted or rewritten. 151.35.128.253 (talk) 10:27, 19 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
