Please take the time to read the cited content and the article as they are from major industry publications and highlight the important role which PeriShip plays in the cold supply chain management of perishable food products.

Furthermore, please see the speech given by CEO Luciano Morra at the recent IATA World Cargo Symposium [1] Joomla Knight (talk) 21:08, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notwithstanding the sources, the article does not explain why PeriShip is notable. It is up to the author to explain that, not the reader to figure it out.--kelapstick (talk) 21:09, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
As per your suggestions I worked the sources into the article to explain why PeriShip is notable. Joomla Knight (talk) 15:27, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Generalised statements

edit

I've removed a few "Doesn't everybody?" sort of statements, as better suited to a discussion of the topic rather than this company. I'll post them below in case anyone wants to work them back in in a more neutral, relevant, style.

A successful shipping transaction leads to increased customer satisfaction of recipient, which can lead to further business opportunities for the shipper and the transportation agency. <ref name='MBJ Jun 22 07'>{{cite news | first=Gary | last=Bridgman | title=High-end food producers reach distant markets with FedEx affiliate| date=2007-06-22 | publisher=[[Memphis Business Journal]] | url =http://memphis.bizjournals.com/memphis/stories/2007/06/25/focus2.html | accessdate = 2009-03-27}}</ref><ref name='FD 09'>{{cite news | first=Kathryn | last=Jones| title=Profile: The Crab Broker| date=2009-03-19 | publisher=[[Food and Drink Magazine]] | url =http://www.fooddrink-magazine.com/content/view/690/| accessdate = 2009-03-27}}</ref> However, issues can arise in transit which may delay the package from reaching the recipient at the established delivery date, for example, an incorrect recipient address, a delivery re-attempt request, a mechanical delay, a weather delay, or a service upgrade request. PeriShip works to address these issues when possible and ensure an on-time delivery.<ref name = 'IBL Aug 07' /><ref name = 'SB Apr 07' /><ref name='ACW Jun 07' />

I removed the POV check tag, there is an improvement over what it was and while it could still use some work it less POV/advertising than it had been.--kelapstick (talk) 17:24, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
