Helton was, in middle age, one of the most recognizable character actors in Hollywood, instantly identifiable not just by his distinctive voice but by his face and stature. ah, that Voice

i heard tell.. in an interview w/ Percy, no i cant give ah a citation sorry, he got that 'voice' as end result of a play he was in. Something bout college days.. as part of the cheer team, he was to run up an down the theartre isles yelling in/for support of the team. Final film

His final film here is listed as "Legend of the old West". I believe that film is incorrectly listed with a production date of 1978. However, that movie appears to have been produced at least ten years earlier then shelved. Cause of death should be added to the article

In my opinion if possible (and if accurately sourced), this actor's cause of death should be put into the article as it will give more information as to how the actor died for anyone who is curious. Xboxsponge15 (talk) 20:48, 27 November 2019 (UTC)

Anyone else ever notice that Krushchev-lookalike Percy Helton died Saturday, November 11, 1971...the same day as the ousted Soviet leader?
