A Chaotic Foot Chase Ensued edit

Quite a clever turn of phrase. It's interesting how the same somewhat unusual phrase turns up in the articles at FrancesFarmersRevenge, crimeZZZ.net, Murderpedia, kknfa.org, thekillergazette.tumblir.org, and murders.net. Maybe they all owe the editor of this article a big apology for taking his/her work. Wonder what else from this article appears in those sources unattributed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.109.90.197 (talk) 00:52, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello

I read The Macon (GA) Telegraph's series of articles on capturing Paul John Knowles. He died in the gunfight NOT on November but December 18, 1974 (date per http://home.scarlet.be/frederic.staes3/serialk-pjk.htm). Other websites have made this miscue about Knowles' death.

I have in front of me the November 22 article on the finding of Florida Trooper Charles Campbell and Delaware businessman James E. Meyer. Knowles was still under indictment in Baldwin County, according to the article.

The bodies were found by deer hunters in the woods off a dirt road four miles from GA247 near Kathleen just inside the Pulaski County line in Georgia. In fact the fifth floor (or fourth; unsure) of the Bibb County Courthouse contained the jail in which Knowles spent some time after his Henry County capture. Next he went to Baldwin County GA. After this he made his way to Douglas County. According to http://home.scarlet.be/frederic.staes3/serialk-pjk.htm he tried to remove a sheriff's gun only to be shot by a GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) agent near Lee Road on Interstate 20 in Douglas County.

Thanks Ken Turner Macon, GA

Third external link rerouted to Facebook. edit

I don't know if this is intended, but I am just letting you know.

The link says it is supposed to be http://www.skcentral.com/articles.php?article_id=155. It takes me to Facebook. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.11.4.132 (talk) 00:04, 18 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Victims - Karen Wine entry doesn't make sense. edit

This entry in the victims section doesn't make sense. Looks like maybe two sentences got cut off and then merged? Who is "Carr"?

Karen Wine and her 16-year-old daughter, were killed on October 16. They were bound, raped, and strangled with a nylon stocking. They were discovered by Wine's older daughter Cheryl. A tape Subsequently, Knowles stabbed Carr, who had a heart attack before Knowles strangled his daughter. He attempted to engage in necrophilia with her body, but failed.
