Pratihar is made with full word as Gurjar Pratihar, a famous Gurjar kingdom during 6th century to 9century.
Pratihar clan word or its history can not be relate or insert in this Parihar article or its history.
Parihar is a only title and can be used or insert in various castes of india.
It is continuous conspiracy to steel Great Gurjar history. Other communities are trying to relate their titles with Gurjar Clans and history.
Being a wikipedian i am not talking for one side but with truth and facts. People should present true facts and authentic proofs what they are writing on wikipedia or they are starting new articles with relating old information/name. I request to administrator to stop people adding false creations and facts in exist articles and presenting false replica of main articles and then corelate with that.
It is all happenning in wikipedia. I hope Wikipedia shall make its decorm.

Notability edit
Try as I have, over a prolonged period, I'm still struggling to find any reliable sources that discuss this clan/gotra. If nothing turns up soon, I think that the article should be deleted as failing to meet our notability guideline. - Sitush (talk) 20:17, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
How can one find reliable sources for this page or for similar pages on Indian clans/tribes, when one knows that most information on such subjects are almost always oral/unverifiable. Origin of Pratihars edit
I just opened the link https://books.google.com/books?id=Ldo1QtQigosC&pg=PA324 That has been used in this article to state that parihar is a Rajput surname, while the pages in the referred book shows that pratihars were Gurjars. Crime in India edit
Aside from dubiously proposing that this article be deleted, we now have a situation where Crime in India has been removed despite thuggees being routinely viewed as criminals and there being academic sources saying that significant numbers of the Parihar did indeed become thuggees. According to the post on my talk page - which obviously should have been made here - the cat remover thinks that it is a category likely to cause controversy and thus falls under WP:CATVER.
I am reinstating it because we seem to have no more refined category and because it is amply supported by the sources and therefore not controversial. - Sitush (talk) 12:44, 12 September 2019 (UTC)

What is the page about?? Why add Jats and Gujjars in the Parihar clan just for their surnames? edit
Surnames can be changed, and with sanskritization many groups of some castes took rajput surnames. It doesnt make them belong to Parihar Clan which was Rajput. If today some group from a different castes takes parihar surname, will that be added in the list too? Is this page about the parihar surname or parihar clan? Because if it page for the surname then dont include the history of parihar in it. Because surname change doesnt change their history of people. If it the page about historical and present rajput parihar clan then either give the reference for the history of jat parihar or gujjar parihar to prove that they were the same people not caste survey report of british india which only shows the surname bhati.
