NPOV line

edit

This line would seem to violate NPOV "This series details the consequences (often dangerous) of political and technocratic rationality, especially when used to crush common sense and a clear reporting of the facts." The rest of it is largely summarizing something that I'd bet has a strong POV, hard to do. Mathiastck 02:25, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

KGB planning etc

edit

User:Philip Cross removed this segment: "the KGB was told the quota of arrests to be made and the prisons to be used. The demand for coffins, novels and movies was all planned."[1] with an edit summary of "cut nonsense, the episode is on YouTube". Since I don't know where on youtube you accessed the episode, I can't comment on that. But looking at the complete episode including the intro/theme song, the text refers to a segment of the episode roughly between timestamp 28:20 and 29:10, where Lelchuk talks about which aspects were planned. I created a series of screenshots where you can see the subtitles: [2]. I restored the text, but copy-edited to make it clearer that it's a direct quote from Lelchuk.
