Omar Barghouti's student enrollment
editOmar Barghouti's enrollment as a masters degree student at Tel Aviv University is relevant since he is the founder of an organization desiring to boycott israeli academic institutions. if he were enrolled at victoria university in switzerland, then it would not be relevant at all. but this is like the chairman of coca-cola saying he only drinks pepsi. quite relevant. thanks. 1. he is not the founder, but maybe one of the founderS. 2. the article is NOT about him, but about the campaign. 3. you can write about him at his page, not at other pages. 4. respect his personal life --213.6.37.240 (talk) 17:58, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- I have to agree.... that Barghouti is enrolled as a masters degree student in philosophy at Tel Aviv University is irrelevant. Create a page about Barghouti and put information about him there. CanadianLinuxUser (talk) 19:06, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- it says he is "one of" and not "the"; the article is directly related to his academic status; it does say it on his personal page; his personal life is respectted since this is just one fact taken from an online source. it does not get into any personal details. Oh for fuck's sake, who are you trying to fool?
This isn't "Coke versus Pepsi"; this is "PETA VP caught skinning puppies."

editThis article relies to heavily on primary sources. I have removed one secondary source actually used since it was a gross misrepresentation of the source (see the history and click on the link if you want). Cptnono (talk) 00:37, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
