why isnt there a page about the artist pachanga edit

j del alma and rico caliente?

Pachanga from Cuba? No. Charanga went from Cuba. Pachanga was a twirl of charanga rhythm made in New York city in the sixties by musician Johnny Pacheco (Pacheco + charanga: Pachanga). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.4.23.218 (talk) 13:47, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Separation of pachanga into a music article and a dance article edit

Pachanga music should not be in the same article as pachanga dance, they should be two separate articles. --Rumba y Son (talk) 19:32, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Student Peer Review edit

To provide clarity to the article, the information should be organized into sections rather than all clumped together. I suggest placing the article into a "Background" section for both the music and dance portions of Pachanga. Additionally, for the Pachanga music and dance I suggest creating a description secton in which you decribe the instruments used in the style of music, what the music sounds like, and what settings the music is often listened to in (party settings, ballroom dancing, etc.). Including a section like this would also be helpful for the pachanga dance style.

-Also make a hyperlink for "charanga" so that readers are able to compare and contrast the similar styles of music. What may also be helpful is to provide youtube links in order for the reader to listen to what the Pachanga music style sounds like. Also include a video link for the pachanga dance style so that reader can visualize what you are describing in the article.

-Include hyperlinks for "Peer International (BMI)", and "La Pachanga" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinpoitras (talkcontribs) 20:50, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
