Frankfort and Scream Queen edit

- Frankfort with an 'o' is an older English spelling for Frankfurt in Germany. English spellings have often differed from the German, e.g. Munich, Hanover, Nuremberg, Leipsic, Cologne, etc.
- 'Scream Queen' as a term to refer to an actress playing the heroine of thrillers was coined in the 1970s, if memory serves.

Starring? edit
The article tells us:
- She has since starred in a variety of films including Breaking Away (1979), Private Benjamin (1980), Stripes (1981), Sweet Dreams (1985), Jawbreaker (1999), and The Devil's Rejects (2005).
No, she doesn't star in Breaking Away (the only one of these films that I've seen). She plays a girl named Suzy; it's a minor role, and the Breaking Away article mentions her only once. More pertinently, her name doesn't appear in the/a poster for the film. (For more detail on her role, see this lovingly created blog entry -- which of course is not a citable "reliable source", but is useful as a supplement for our purpose here.)
Is Breaking Away a mistaken addition to this list of starring roles, or is "starred" an exaggeration for one or more others as well? The Baudelaire Fortune, any comments on this edit of yours? -- Hoary (talk) 01:48, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Early Life: Ambassadorial plans? edit
I tagged the mention of her college days’ wanting to be an ambassador to the Soviet Union. Though no direct mention of this is in any of the cited interviews (or any others I could find), Justin Bozung’s 2014 interview does show P.J. saying two related things:
- 1) “In college I was a Russian language major…”
and much further down,
- 2) “I wanted to be a Russian interpreter at the U.N. when I was younger.”
Perhaps these sort of remarks have been conflated or morphed over time to imply “first female Ambassador to the U.N.” (Soles’ college days were pre-Jeane Kirkpatrick) or “first woman Ambassador to the Soviet Union”, but both are a far cry from aspiring to be a Russian-speaking interpreter. — DennisDallas (talk) 03:12, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
