Fair use rationale for Image:Over the edge (poster).jpg edit

Image:Over the edge (poster).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Balaclava9 edit

i don't know where to find a solid article on the internet about the foster city events on which this film is based. i think it would be a very interesting addition to this article. Balaclava9 (talk) 05:50, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Plot edit

Hello. I note that the plot for this article has been marked as being 'excessively long.' Over the next few days, I shall endeavour to condense it. I would be grateful for any feedback in respect of this issue. Thank you. (Galaxycat (talk) 16:38, 13 April 2012 (UTC))Reply

Songs edit

The song, "Over the Edge", by Little Feat, & written by the film's editor's brother, Paul Barrére, was recorded for this movie, ostensibly, as the title track, but I do not know if it is, actually, in the movie (, it being a while since I have seen it), & it not being on the soundtrack. It was released on Little Feat's _Hoy-Hoy!_ in 1981.

This article has a lot of detail about the movie~ though nothing about my above comment: http://thisdistractedglobe.com/2010/04/11/over-the-edge/

NO warning shot fired by Doberman, and.... edit

I just watched this movie TWICE ,and Doberman certainly did NOT fire a warning shot.

Also Doberman certainly did NOT overhear Tip's mother and that was the reason he started following the 2 boys.

Whoever wrote that must've been SUPER high and hallucinating. Lol

Really

Doberman just by chance started driving behind them 2601:18F:E82:A10:21B3:F0BE:5FC0:68EB (talk) 17:56, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Doberman was very clearly ALREADY dead after the crash into the rec center with Carl in the back edit

It's EXTREMELY clear to anyone who has actually watched this movie (.....amd watched it recently) that Doberman was ALREADY dead from the head shot he took before crashing the police car into the rec center, with Carl in handcuffs in the backseat. Whoever wrote this plot must have seen the movie 5 or 10 years prior , or even longer ago than that , and wrote this plot from memory amd how they GUESS the filn went.

There is no scene where Tip's mother is describing her son's assailants. No such scene !!! Unless there's some DVD version with deleted scenes. And if that's where the scene came from , you certainly do NOT list that scene or anything from it as part of the regular plot and story 2601:18F:E82:A10:21B3:F0BE:5FC0:68EB (talk) 18:14, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
