I found info on Otto Pollak from U. Penn. He was a neutral point of view sociologist, and The Criminality of Women is just a report. In 1950, it was shocking. Since then, crimologists have taken his work for granted, and the courts now don't look a blessed thing like they did in 1950. Anyway, we still need birth and death dates. He died in 1998, but I haven't found a bio. (The ANB is by subscription.) Geogre 12:50, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)
