probably killed in WWII?

See the publication from 1964 that has Mittmann as a coauthor. He is described as being on the medical faculty of the University of Bonn, presumably very much living at the time. Mateat (talk) 13:53, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

I deleted the date of death (1998, Rheinbach), which had no reference cited. Probably a confusion with another Ottfried or Ottfrid Mittmann from an electronics company, see here--Claude J (talk) 09:42, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
