Captured Italian
editThe side bar reads that one Italian was captured during the festivities, but the nature of the withdrawal and the general ramshackle, beaten-up disposition of the Brits and their hoopties by the end of the op raises some questions - did this Italian prisoner stick with them and make it into processing? Did they "cut him loose" after running into vehicle issues and harassing fire from the Italian aircraft? Did he sit lapsies during the car ride? I'm just curious about the practicalities of this outcome as suggested by the side-bar - I suppose if the Italian prisoner was more of a willing guest than one taken kicking and screaming this would make more sense but I'm not sure if I overlooked the part of the text where it mentions this or if it's a blind-spot in the article that needs to be filled. What do you folks think? 2601:87:4400:AF2:98C8:32A8:9194:9672 (talk) 06:18, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
