Name: "mju" is a misunderstanding edit

The name of this brand is properly just the Greek letter µ -- the following bit [mju:] consists of the pronunciation of the name of the Greek letter in English and Japanese. The colon, marking a long vowel, is an intrinsic part of this bit, so 'mju' is just what's left when you ignore everything that is not a Latin letter. Of course it is also possible to argue that the pronunciation gloss is part of the name, since it's always written that way in the Japanese original; but it should probably be noted that the reading of it is "mew", not "mew mew", in other words you don't read the pronunciation gloss again.

If the cameras were/are generally referred to as 'mju', we need a citation for this (and how is/was it pronounced?!). Notice that the Camerawiki reference gets the names right.
