Untitled edit
I added some more on Olodumare and added a story. Hopefully it didnt ruin the article. You can change it back if you want Robinfreiberg (talk) 20:14, 1 November 2019 (UTC)robinfreiberg

Who is Eledumare? edit
This article, albeit short, still manages to switch back and forth between "Eledumare" and "Olodumare", seemingly, as spellings for the same being. At least, that's my interpretation; I can't really say for sure. I just read a little but still cannot say with confidence. Can someone who knows confirm this and we can stick with one? Maybe even with a source cited? Dabizi~enwiki (talk) 00:11, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
Abigails Peer Review edit
I really like what you wrote about Olodumare. It was not biased and you clarified the name problem. I think you should add that he is an Orisha since people who do not know much about this topic will read this. I clicked on your source but it took me to a page about Santeria so I do not know if that applies to what you wrote. Overall really good! Sweetpea1020 (talk) 18:57, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Sofia Davies
Should Olodumare be referred to as "it"? edit
Currently, this article refers to Olodumare as "he". However, according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoruba_religion#Olodumare, "Regarded as being all-encompassing, no gender can be assigned. Hence, it is common to hear references to 'it' or 'they'". According to https://www.facebook.com/OsaIworiTemple/posts/is-olodumare-male-or-female-i-have-heard-and-come-across-several-authors-especia/1644390322371130/, "The correct position is that olodumare is neither male nor female. Olodumare is transcendental, omniscient and a gender-neutral deity." However, that post also refers to Olodumare as "he". My question is: should this article refer to Olodumare as "it" instead of "he"? Mail2andrewrli (talk) 20:41, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
Merger proposal edit
I propose merging this article with Ọlọrun as they appear to refer to the same entity Jno.skinner (talk) 03:16, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
- Merge - They are the same deity. Di (they-them) (talk) 02:20, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
