IPA edit

I’ve correct the IPA to a Conamara/Connacht pronunciation since those dialects probably have the largest number of speakers. It would be too distracting to include three dialect pronunciations, but the previous one was a hybrid that no speaker would have used. If you feel this is unfair, it would be better to just remove the IPA I think. —⚜ Moilleadóir 02:37, 23 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Naming edit

An anonymous user recently changed all the placenames to Irish. This is the English Wikipedia, so the correct policy is to use English names, however I’ve left places in the Gaeltacht, as well as service towns (Bailte Seirbhíse Gaeltacht) in Irish, but added explicit redirects to the main articles. In Ireland, at least, the only legal names of places in the Gaeltacht (in any language) are the Irish names. It could be argued that they should all be in English, but I feel this is a reasonable compromise. —⚜ Moilleadóir 02:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
