The village suffers for increasing exodus of inhabitants dictated by poor wages and other factors, for example - low standart of services in surrounding area. Many people recently died. The village was founded by Oficjalski familly, whole area is located in a charming, hilly. According to the 2021 National Population and Housing Census, the population in the village is 112, of which 52.7% of the population are women and 47.3% of the population are men.The village is well connected to the national(directly via national road No. 9 ) and provincial capitals.An important object in the area is the Baroque stone statue of St John of Nepomuk from 1776. It is set on a plinth with a partially obliterated inscription. The statue is surrounded by a square paved with cobblestones.
