Gang

I removed "OMC is also said to stand for Otara Motorcycle Club, a gang." If it can be substantiated that the band's name is a reference to such a motorcycle club, pls reinstate it. Nurg 01:58, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

Bankruptcy

I removed "In 2004 Fuemana declared himself bankrupt.", which though possible, is unsubstantiated, and I was unable to find anything to that effect after a cursory search... TheWama 6:56, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Prison?

I remember that during the VH1 100 Greatest One-hit Wonders special, it was said the members of OMC were in a gang and prison in NZ before hitting it big. Can anyone confirm this? - Thanks, Hoshie 19:32, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Album dates

Pauly Fuemana

Looking at the video of OMC's latest song, Fuemana looks very different from when he appeared on the "How Bizarre" video. Anyone got any info on Fuemana between '97 and '07? There was a story on TV2's 20/20 program on 27/2/2007 interviewing Pauly and talking about how the band broke up and he went bankrupt. Not to mention his life before fame with OMC.

are the dates correct?

The dates are all over the place in this article.

It states the "How Bizarre" song was released in 1996, the album was released in 1997 but the band slit up by 1995.

Doesn't make any sense at all.

Pauly and Alan formed the band, and wrote a good song but never released it. The band broke up. Pauly then pushed the song as a solo artist, but still using the OMC name. The song got released, and took off world wide. Then the full album got done. Or something like that. Hope this clears it up. Cheers  Esradekan Gibb  ^"Talk" 02:24, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Removing this track from the data, as has been done repeatedly by someone who doesn't quite understand the subject really takes a crucial part of the story out of the page. The single was NZ's last sighting of Pauly and the publicity surrounding it proved to be quite a media talking focal point for. The failure of this single is important to understanding what happened to Pauly.
