It's not clear what part of MOS:AT you are actually referring to, but while the sources all describe this as an "incident" they also make multiple mentions of the vehicle and passengers being shot. I would argue that WP:CRITERIA support this move, specifically on the basis of recognizability, naturalness, and precision.Polyamorph (talk) 17:42, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I genuinely do not remember why I used MOS:AT instead of just WP:AT, as that's probably what I meant. Either way I disagree on recognizability and precision, though I agree "shooting" would be a more natural title.
Also, unrelated to this specific page move, why is the article titled with the city being called Nushki? When looking at the sources and other articles on this, many seem to refer to it as Noshki instead of Nushki, however both Noshki and Noshki District redirect to the other spelling. Is Nushki a more correct spelling, or is it just the anglicized version? SmittenGalaxy|talk!02:54, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

SmittenGalaxy, first off.. edit conflict on the closure. I guess we were on the talk page at the same time. 😂 Second, on the district name in the article title here, the simplest explanation is that the location is currently at Nushki District. If you think there is a need to change name of the district to a more common name one, go ahead and move the district article (or open a discussion if you require more inputs first) and then come back and move this article accordingly. This RM closure should not restrict such a move. – robertsky (talk) 03:00, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I saw the closure literally a minute or two after posting my reply lol, didn't expect to see it pop up
But like I said, there seems to be conflicting information on the name of the area. On the map, it's Noshki, as well as in many articles. But there's also some that say Nushki, which leads me to believe it's an anglicization of the original name. One of the sources used in this article alone even uses "Noshaki", so I'll open an RM on the Nushki District article to get an idea of what the official agreed upon name is and come back if necessary.
