The result was keep separate from Buchenwald concentration camp. There is, in my view, a very strong case for merger given the substantial overlap between the two articles. Nonetheless, in the absence of a clear consensus to merge and the absence of an editor willing to do the merger justice I am closing this discussion as stale, no consensus. -- Debate 08:24, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The text in this page is more or less the same as in the paragraph about number of deaths in Buchenwald on the wiki-page for Buchenwald.

The reason that I have put information about statistics on deaths in Buchenwald on both pages, is that I think, it is of relevance both if you are specifically interested in Buchenwald. But it is also of interest if you are interested in the number of deaths in concentration camps in general. I have linked from the page "List of Nazi-German concentration camps" to this page.

Because I think it is of relevance to have statistical information on deaths in concentration camps I do not think the two pages should merge (I work with statistics in my daytime job :-)) Anette B 13:43, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
