Grammar Edits

In the second paragraph of the Summary section of this article, I wonder whether "Trustees" needs to be capitalized? The History section is a bit difficult to follow, as it has many run on sentences. In the second paragraph of the Leadership and Organization section, this symbol ` is used incorrectly. It should be this symbol '.

I read over the history section again and I could not find any run-on sentences. What about it makes it difficult to follow for you? Does anybody else feel this way? Because it reads fine for me. --Just8food (talk) 20:19, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Notable Alumni Section

The Notable Alumni section of the article is a little unorganized. There could be better separation between the alumni that work in various fields. While doing a Notable Alumni of a school could be a very overwhelming task, I think the contributors did a good job of assembling the individuals described in the section. Great job on making this article both informative and succinct. The brief history on TGS was particularly well-written and organized, and most importantly interesting. The neutral viewpoint, scholarly tone, and wide array of sources make for a substantiated and authentic-looking Wikipedia article! I suggest reorganizing the Notable Alumni section, because as of now the prose format is making it difficult to read. At some places it becomes a bit redundant. For example phrases like “were also alumni” and “attended TGS as well,” among others, were repeated several times. To avoid this, a simple bulleted list separated by categories (i.e. industries/ fields/ occupations) would make the section a lot neater and in keeping with other Wikipedia articles that have a Notable Alumni section. Additionally, the font sizes of the sub-headers are different, and I am not sure if this is intentional or not. If there is some way to make headings and subheadings more differentiable, that may be helpful for the reader. In terms of minor copy-editing errors, I would suggest rewording this line: “students would be allowed to enroll for classes at TGS but not pursuing a degree” by changing “pursuing” to “pursue.” I have not gone ahead and made this change, however, because I am not entirely sure if this is wrong or not. After the sentence, “For notable M.B.A. alumni, also see the Kellogg School of Management” there was no period, so I added one. AmalaG (talk) 08:10, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
