Should the page really include links to other municipalities of Östergötland? There is already a link in the text to Östergötland, and the text at the bottom really feels like reapeting the same info twice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.236.208.15 (talk) 14:16, 20 October 2003 (UTC)Reply

List of towns

edit

What is the source for the list of towns with more than 200 inhabitants? I just added Herräng, 474 inhabitants (2000) according to Nationelencyklopedin. // Habj 19:57, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

My bad, wrong municipality. I remove it. // Habj 20:06, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Location error

edit

Google Earth suggest that this place is located at the other side of the earth, close to Montagu Island. I don't know how to fix this, and if it is here or some other place. If you know, fix it and delete this. // 83.254.157.115 17:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC) DiwicReply

But Wikipedia is not affiliated with Google earth?! / Fred-Chess 17:28, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The error seems to be on a new layer with Wikipedia entries that has recently been added to Google Earth. Are there perhaps some coordinates in this article that this layer uses?

This article has not had its coordinates added. But are you sure that it is the municipality that Google Earth links to and not the city Norrköping? Although the coordinates appear to be correct for the city.

First, I'm talking about the city, not the Municipality. The discussion page for both the city and the municipality is this page, they seem to have been united.

Second, if you click the dot on Google Earth, it shows the first paragraph of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norrköping, so at least there seem to be some kind of connection between Google Earth and Wikipedia. That said, I'm not sure that the error must have originated here.

Third, the city page seems to have this info in its infobox:

|latd= 58|latm= 36|lats= |latNS= |longd= 16|longm= 12|longs= |longEW=

A guess: perhaps the latNS and longEW attributes needs to be set to a smart value here, to make the dot show up in the right quadrant, but I can't find any wikipedia documentation on how to do it the right way.

I've moved back the talk page to be under Norrköping.
I'll look into your suggestions.
