Article Assertions Incorrect

The article asserts Shaviv " hypothesised that passages through the Milky Way's spiral arms appear to have been the cause behind the major ice-ages over the past billion years." This is total rubbish. He responded to this (and other misconceptions) on his blog: http://www.sciencebits.com/NoInterview.

This article's assertion is appaerently based on the IPC report which asserted: "Dr. Shaviv found that the meteorites that Earth collected during its passage through the arms of the Milky Way sustained up to 10% more cosmic ray damage than others."

His response: "Nope I didn't find that. The meteorites were all recently "collected" by Earth. And previously to that, these Iron meteorites roamed the solar system for 10's to 100's of millions of years. What I found was that during spiral arm passages, these meteorites "sustained" at least a factor of at least 2.5 more "cosmic ray damage" then the same meteorites while outside the spiral arms." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.1.16.157 (talk) 10:52, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

BLP noticeboard

Denier term

'Denier' is an ad hominem label and not neutral. This should be removed. This article reads like it was written by a climate activist and is not neutral — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.0.233.130 (talk) 17:14, 16 August 2019 (UTC)

I think the term is not warranted, at least not by the sources. DSB wouldn't be a good source for that term, and as far as I can see they don't even use it. Nor is it needed; "disagrees with" is fine William M. Connolley (talk) 18:23, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
