- The Marriott on the Falls Hotel is distinct from the other Marriott properties and Sheraton properties in the city. Do not merge with similar hotels. Kurtismccartney (talk) 12:55, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- At 23:14, 31 January 2011 Jamesluckard moved page Sheraton Fallsview to Marriott Gateway on the Falls Hotel (hotel renamed). That puts the above suggestion in context. I agree that we wouldn't combine them, unless it was to some sort of list of Niagara Falls hotels. - wbm1058 (talk) 22:23, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
Rooms and Floors Update edit
The original entry mentioned that MGotF had 371 rooms and 31 floors. There are 32 above ground floors. The first floor lobby area has no guest rooms but is still a floor. Marriott rename edit
In March 2016 this property began the process of renaming from Marriott Niagara Falls Gateway on the Falls Hotel and Conference Centre (Full length) or Marriott Gateway on the Falls (for short) to Marriott Niagara Falls on the Falls Hotel and Conference Centre (Full length, mind the RE in Centre) or Marriott on the Falls Hotel (for short).
Not going to lie, it has been a very long time and many changes have happened to Wikipedia, any assistance in getting the proper shortname / longname move/rename done is greatly appreciated.
A simple visit to either Marriott.com or the vanity site MarriottOnTheFalls.com / MarriottGatewayOnTheFalls.com shows this change to get away from confusion with the Atlanta Marriott Gateway and highlight the major multi-million dollar upgrade to the facility in 2016.

Marriott Gateway on the Falls Hotel → Marriott on the Falls Hotel – The Hotel has officially changed names and the article does not match the new name. A redirect would also help since the name change is very subtle. This does not reduce the legal reality of the name change. Kurtismccartney (talk) 15:21, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
