-How is this unencyclopedic? Search for Queen, it's pretty much the same kind of thing, just with more information.

Isn't the Eric Roche section clearly original research? It may or may not be true, but it shouldn't be here.Tobycek (talk) 22:47, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Influences edit

Aqua is listed as one his influences, with his myspace page as source, but I cannot verify this on his myspace page. I therefore suggest deleting the mention Aqua -- Waldo000000 (talk) 22:18, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Jimi Hendrix quadruple amputation story edit

The following was removed from the article

"During the performance, Jimi Hendrix jumped onto the stage and cut off Newton's arms and legs and swapped them around. After intensive bleeding, Newton continued to finish his set, as he is one of the greatest humans of all time."

I - for one - would be happy to reinstate it if properly referenced.

SpongeBob SquarePants edit

What? no mention of his highly popular rendition of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme tune he does in every gig? For shame! 81.144.241.196 (talk) 20:22, 4 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Entire Piece edit

It feels a litle bit like the article was written by the subject. I understand that a lot of the information was taken from his myspace page, which would be fine if that werent the only source for most of this article. You can't argue that this is tantamount to being autobiographical if the only source is a website written by the subject. At least revise the influences into a list; maybe 4 rows of bands/artists. Dont just copy/paste your way across the internets, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.102.9.251 (talk) 03:04, 7 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Live Performances edit

I have edited this section down, to only dot points about where he play and what year etc, etc. Am I allowed to delete the bit saying it is to intricate or whatever it says? ANyone know? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TurningTables98 (talkcontribs) 00:08, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unique? edit

His style is definitely not unique, although it is unusual. Can't think of any others now, but I'm pretty sure he's not the first to use his guitar as a percussion instrument as well as in its conventional mode. So the "unique" in the first para might not be accurate. --Matt Westwood 18:04, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

John Martyn used his guitar as percussion, many musicians have done this. They call me Mister Tibbs (talk) 17:52, 3 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
