editIs the factory actually called "New Zealand Steel", or is the firm that owns the factory called that? Isn't it simply "The New Zealand Steel factory at Glenbrook" - in which case, if they built a second factory, it would be "The New Zealand Steel factory at xxx" - in the same sense as, say, with "The New Zealand Railways workshop at Hillside" the workshop isn't called "New Zealand Railways". - Yeah, you're right, I don't think the factory is called 'New Zealand Steel'. I've visited the mill twice, and I've only ever heard it called the 'Glenbrook Steel Mill' in conversation. The NZS website calls it the 'Glenbrook Steel Site', possibly because they include the mining/concentration plant in that (it's about 20km down the road). --Dom 01:34, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Details need updating
editThe company is called 'New Zealand Steel' which is wholly owned by 'BlueScope' an Australian Corp demerged from BHP Billiton. The Article also says some steel is manufactured by Otahuhu, this is now incorrect as New Zealand Steel acquired the Otahuhu plant and is in the process of moving its operations to the Glenbrook site, and some redundancies in the process. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grasshoper (talk • contribs) 03:23, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
Think Big upgrade
editWhat was the extent of the claimed upgrade during the "Think Big" period? The article refers to no actual upgrade at that timeRoyalcourtier (talk) 23:42, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
