NYC Emergency ManagementNew York City Emergency Management – The portion of the New York City charter that authorizes the department states "There shall be an emergency management department, which may also be known as the New York City office of emergency management".[1] Wikipedia articles about other NYC departments consistently spell out "New York City" in their titles.[2] Please note that I have a potential conflict of interest, so I no longer directly edit this particular article.
