Notability edit

"NeuroElectroDynamics" is not an actual field of study. It's a neologism invented by Aur. I strongly recommend this page be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.113.183 (talkcontribs) 04:03, April 11, 2012‎

First, the neologism was not invented by Aur, second the theory makes sense. Third, the progess is so rare.... “ whenever there has been progress, there have been influential thinkers who denied that it was genuine, that it was desirable, or even that the concept was meaningful.” David Deutsch — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lambert Surhone (talkcontribs) 17:16, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

About merging this page into neural coding, I think that doing so is supported by the fact that, regardless of who invented the term, pretty much all of the sources cited here are from the Aur et al. lab group, with other sources cited to validate facts on which the theory is based, but not actually to support the theory from the Aur group. It seems basically to be a theory from a single laboratory. I'm quite satisfied that the material is encyclopedic, but not that it merits a standalone article as opposed to a dedicated section within a more general article. On the other hand, if there are review articles by authors not affiliated with the Aur group, that focus on the theory, those should be added to this page. --Tryptofish (talk) 00:03, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I second the motion that the page be removed. The "theory" does not make sense and is close to word salad. Definitely do not merge this page into neural encoding, because it would degrade the quality of that page.86.149.137.32 (talk) 16:31, 1 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done. --Tryptofish (talk) 22:23, 1 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
