Untitled edit

Although i am happy that the old "N-Strike" page is being re-created, this article is written very sloppily and poorly, i have noticed that it seems as though it was written in an extremely biased point of view, and the overuse of colons. 66.59.49.88 (talk) 14:35, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Much better so far than the jumbled mess the "N-Strike" page became (I assume this page replaces it?), though. I still don't like the "looks like real world gun X" as it's so subjective (unless Hasbro SAYS a blaster was based on a real gun, IMO it isn't). I also miss the section on accessories and mission kits, and there's a few blasters like the Reflex, Element and Eliminator (later re-released as a Dart Tag 'holdout' pistol) completely missing. But so far, a nice improvement. I'm not sure the 'modifications' stuff belongs here though... it seems more suited to the general Nerf page IMO. This is badly typed! What do you mean by "reflex"? 66.59.49.88 (talk) 13:31, 7 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Improving this article edit

This article contains an enormous amount of uncited content, and reads almost like a catalog for every nerf blaster out there. This isn't how we write encyclopedia articles. I strongly advise editors interested in this article to clean it up, fix it, condense it to encyclopedic form, and find some secondary sources (NOT fan wikis, as is the case in two of the five current refs). If not, this article is likely to be gutted. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:21, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speaking of keeping this article intact, undo any military or tactical themed vandalism, and if you see that kind of writing, change it immediately, or otherwise little kids will come here and turn this good page into a terribly written "military document". 66.59.49.88 (talk) 17:29, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • This isn't a good page. It's very far from being a good article. A month later, and the situation is if anything worse than it was. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:44, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • And not surprisingly, someone has now gutted it (and appropriately, I might add). --Hammersoft (talk) 19:32, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
If you hate it so much, why don't you AfD it? - Areaseven (talk) 01:07, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • I didn't say I hate it. It also isn't necessary to AfD it. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:33, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Is this page really needed? edit

It seems like a gigantic catalogue which could be found by a simple Google search on many other sites. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SoLongWith (talkcontribs) 09:14, 5 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

The existence and cultural history of Nerf Blasters seems fine, but the sprawling list of different models of gun seems like textbook WP:NOTCATALOG. I've removed it - if there have been any significant milestones in the toy's history, it'd be more helpful to the reader to write about them in prose. --McGeddon (talk) 16:02, 24 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
