Hello! I am trying my hardest to create an article about Shaykh Nazim that abides with Wikipedias article standards. I am new to wikipedia so please help if I am doing anything wrong. I know a lot of people disagree or dislike Shaykh Nazim and seem to vandalise and attempt to delete his articles, please abide by wikipedia rules and simply put your criticisms of the shaykh on the page rather then attempting to remove the article. A google search of Shaykh Nazim brings up 82,900 pages ( http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Shaykh+Nazim&btnG=Google+Search&meta= ), so I'm sure he deserves a page. Thanks.

As a matter of fact, these times everbody seems to feel entitled to express some kind of opinion, whether he or she is qualified or not (and most of the time there is neither qualification nor good intention whatsoever). - If those people, who talk or write badly on an absolutely exceptional Saint as is Maulana Sheikh Nazim, just afforded no more than the flight fare to the island of Cyprus and meet him personally (or his representative, Sheikh Hisham Kabbani, who is based in the US-state of Michigan), I'm sure, they would stop spreading their ridiculous, yet harmful rumours. - But, of course, the more powerful the light, the more furious the opposing antiforce. They lack fairness and respect, as they have already lost every sense of the spiritual. So they do what they are doing, which is destroy, whereever they can, thereby making themselves not the slightest bit happier, but rather moving their souls further into nothingness and despair. Title- "Sultan-ul-Awliya"

I wanted to know if there are any references besides the Sufi Naqshabandi order present around the world that prove the title given to Maulana sheikh Nazim as a "Sultan-ul-Awliya"? Because this title has been given to only Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA)- who is called the Sultan-ul-Awliya. If anybody wants to dispute this on the basis that Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) is no longer present & that the title carries on- than that person does not about sufism and that is what both these great personalities represent- Sufis and their practice. In the study of sufism- death is nothing but the body being free of its worldly chains and hence, all great Sheikhs are often called on by their mureeds which as a Sufi Sheikh- Maulana Sheikh NAzim knows about this and himself practices it- hence- in regards to the article per say & what it represents - it is not right to call Sheikh Nazim as a Sultan-ul-Awliya as there was only one Sultan-ul-Awliya & will be only one till the Day of Judgement & that is Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) & there was only one imam-ul-Awliya- & that is Imam Ali Murtaza (RA). So,please lovers & mureeds of Sheikh Nazim- please dont just add a title because any true lover of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) would know that he is the Sultan-ul-Awliya & will always be & that all Awliyas come under his jurisdiction.--Peerbaghdadi11 (talk) 07:14, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Sheikh Kabbani

Could I respectfully point out that Sheikh Kabbani's name appears twenty (20) times in a Wikipedia article about Sheikh Nazim. Does anyone agree that this is excessive? Might we keep Sheikh Kabbani's presence on this article to a minimum of perhaps three honrable mentions. Sheikh Kabbani deserves much recognistion but he has his own Wiki page and this article should be exclusively about Sheikh Nazim.

This highjacking of and pulling attention away from the subject of this article needs to stop! This article is about Sheikh NAzim Al-Haqqani, no one else. If it does not directly relate to Sheikh Nazim Al-Haqqani, his biography, work, or OFFICIAL website, then do not add anything. If you wish to promote your own site, your own title, your own position, your own business, your own donation button, do it on an article about yourself or about the Naqshbandi Sufi Order - NOT HERE!!!!!!! Photo Down

Someone took down the photo of Sheikh NAzim Al-Haqqani with the Pope and also removed it from the commons area where the photo is filed. I am not understanding enough about Wikipedia to take corrective action. Anyone who does, I would encourage them to investigate this matter. That photo appeared on the saltanat.org site and is a public domain photo. I can only assume that someone made a copyright complaint, as my acount is now unathorized and I can not put it back up. Copywriting material about Sheikh Nazim to profit - How pathetic. The goal of any true follower of Sheikh Nazim is to disemintate his knowledge as widely as possible without gain, profit or recognition.
