Large number of Gujrati's from Navsari and villages around this district settled in New Zealand. This migration started in early 1880 when British required human labour to develop sugarcane plantations in Fiji.Around 1000 men allowed to stay in New Zealand in the early 1900's when there was excess labour in the colonies. The decendents from this original group of men now represent majority of Kiwi gujarati population. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.237.93.245 (talk) 07:29, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Inconsistency in the first paragraph
editThese sentences do not offer the same state:
Navsari is the ninth biggest city in the state of Gujarat in India.
As per 2011 Census of India, Navsari is 16th biggest city of Gujarat state.
Can anyone explain which one is correct? Did I misunderstand these sentences if they're the same? 5.112.242.21 (talk) 04:48, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
