expressways edit

An apparent contradiction: In the introductory paragraph we have ... 4,885 km are central-separated expressways, whereas the table in the "Indian road network" section lists only 200 km of expressways. Deuar 14:01, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

should read 200 km of access controlled expressways which refers to the mumbai pune expy and the ahmedabad vadodara expy. The 4885 km should be the new NHDP roads which are 4 lane median highways -- PlaneMad|YakYak 15:07, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

I'm not sure where to go, so could somebody find sources for this article? Damanmundine1 11:47, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I have tried to provide references to many sections of the article. And urge other contributors to site sources so it is easy to prevent putting up of notices on article. -Manik (talk) 22:57, 22 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Move expressway content to Expressway (India)? edit

I think we ought to move the expressway details into Expressway (India). This would make that a bigger and better article, and would allow this article to grow into further information on highway history, development, construction and details. -- Gaurav (talk) 16:55, 27 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. also, more info should be added about State Highways. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 06:47, 12 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

This article is in desparate need of improvement. However, it does have a little bit of useful information (although not enough to qualify as a B-class article or higher). Further comments may be given later if requested. Ncmvocalist (talk) 12:22, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
