The above articles, whilst focusing on a different aspect of the Falls do cover alot of the same material and do refer to each other. Is it actually necessary? It certainly is confusing and starts getting circuitous. Is there some way they can be consoldated? The distinction between the falls and the mountain are clear, though there may be some jurisdictional differences regarding the what is included in the various municpal, state and national designations. Seperation and Consolidation edit

Yikes... that is a bit confusing.

It would think that Great Falls of Paterson-Garrett Mountain could be very easily consolidated into the Great Falls (Passaic River). Probably make it a redirect to specific section on the Falls' Natural Landmark status. This section could then have a link to Garret Mountain Reservation in it.

The Old Great Falls Historic District is essentially a neighborhood of Paterson. Having an article for it is totally redundant. Stoney Road should also be wholly consolidated into Paterson,_NJ#Neighborhoods as well.

The information in the section Paterson, New Jersey#Lambert Castle Museum would be better off in an actual article on Lambert Castle. An article for Lambert Castle would also centralize all information pertaining to it, thus removing random tidbits in other articles. An article would also reinforce the castle's distinction, as it is not a part of Garret Mountain Reservation (just happens to border it) or the Great Falls Historic District.

What d'ya think? Lithium6ion (talk) 19:23, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
