Authorship claims in Research section

I added the to this because it is not supported by the reference which lists 174 publications. [1]https://research.com/u/naresh-s-dalal lists Dalal as having 176 publications and 8,096 citations. I debated changing the sentence/removing it but am new to editing so would be happy to discuss. Martiansizzle (talk) 10:05, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

I fixed two broken external links and also looked into this issue of the reported number of publications and citations.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to confirm the >400 publications either using Web of Science (108) or Researchgate(15!). Google Scholar finds 403 publications for "Naresh Dalal" but I'm not sure if this may contain entries for other authors with the same name.

Adding up the publications listed on https://nationalmaglab.org/user-facilities/emr/staff-emr?view=personnel&id=NareshDalal I get to 154 publications.

I'm not sure whether to remove this sentence entirely or changing it to "over 150", which is actually supported by the reference.

Note to both GentleZaphod, Martiansizzle (if this reaches you). Only one of the links worked, and the paper which claimed the first Fe_8 synthesis used a method of prior work, so was not the first. If I do not hear back I will probably nominate this to WP:AFD, since it seems to be highly dubious. I will let it sit for a week or two first. Ldm1954 (talk) 21:02, 17 October 2023 (UTC)

Addendum. I replaced the bad sources. He has a named Chair, so would pass WP:NACADEMIC. Many of his awards are not notable, for instance the RSC, APS, ACS Fellows (not selective). With the inflated claims removed this page is an OK stub. Ldm1954 (talk) 07:24, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
